Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.

Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.

If you were to take a grain of wheat, and mark it with a tiny stick pin, poking a few holes in it, and then plant it in the dirt, it would still grow into a stalk of wheat, grow a head and grains in the head. Many of us have taken an avocado pit, poked three toothpicks into it to hold it up in a glass of water to sprout it. Once it is sprouted, it can be planted and it will grow into an avocado tree and produce more avocados. Now I ask you, will you ever again see the original grain of wheat with holes in it, or will any of the avocados on the tree have toothpick marks on them? No. But the DNA of the original will be in each of the new ones.
Jesus was "the son of man" and He is also called "the seed of the woman." He has the DNA of mankind through His mother Mary, and also the "DNA" of His father God. (Not that God has literal DNA.) But He has the very spirit of God without measure. This is why He is both God and man. And He is both "the son of God", and "the son of Man."
All who are born from above, born of the spirit, have the same seed He has, and also have human DNA.
Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: “Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, But a body You have prepared for Me.
(Hebrews 10:5)
The Church, created on the day of Pentecost was the Body of Christ. But now it was a new kind of body, a new creation! It was a many-membered body, made of brothers and sisters, joined together as one.
But this new creation was not at all what Satan was expecting when he incited the religious leaders and the world rulers to kill Jesus. He was flabbergasted and outraged!
So he went on a rampage to kill every one of Jesus followers that he could. And he did kill a great many, but the more he killed the more they multiplied! So after a few hundred years of that not working for him, he changed his tactic.
His new idea--if you can't beat 'em, join 'em, ... and destroy 'em from the inside.
So he gave the Roman Emperor, Constantine the idea to make "Christianity" the religion of the Roman Empire. And to make everyone in his world empire a "Christian." So he took some of the Christian teachings and cleverly and carefully mixed them with lots of pagan religious garbage.
Then of course, since he was the Emperor, he mandated that everyone in his empire MUST convert to "Christianity." Which was, of course, just paganism with a new name and some newly invented doctrines of demons. He didn't really care a bit what anyone believed, as long as it wasn't the true teaching of Jesus or those horrible Hebrew Scriptures.
But there were many true believers who would not convert to his new version of "Christianity," so he now had even "better" reason to kill them, and the added support of a new religious movement (called "Christianity") to act in great fervor to hunt down and destroy anyone who would not convert.
So his invented religion started their crusades and their inquisitions. Religion is always more powerful to destroy than a national military. War between nations comes and goes, but religious war never ends!
So over time as "Christianity" (so called) spread all over the whole world, the true followers of Jesus were, and still are killed all over the world.
Another parable He spoke to them: “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened.”
(Matthew 13:33)
Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?
(1 Corinthians 5:6)
A little leaven leavens the whole lump.
(Galatians 5:9)
This mixture of paganism and the teachings of Jesus over time became such a confused mess of thousands of denominations, that there has not remained any pure doctrine anywhere on the planet. All has been leavened.
Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”
(Luke 18:6-8)
What is the return of Christ?
Most Christians today are waiting for the return of Christ. But Jesus is waiting for His bride to make herself ready:
Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.”
(Revelation 19:7)
The bride of Christ are those who want more than anything else to know Him. They are not hung up on any "systematic theology," they want to know Him in spirit and in truth:
But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
(John 4:23-24)
As His bride matures, and makes herself ready, He will help her to know the truth that will set her free:
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
(John 8:32)
Out of her, His true Church, that He is building, will come the Man Child:
Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth.
And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born. She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne. Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.
(Revelation 12:1-6)
This Man Child will be the return of Christ, the one body that He is building. It will be the return of the one new man that Paul wrote about in Ephesians and Colossians. It is this one new man that will reign with Christ for a thousand years.
